Description
DISH's Manufacturing team ensures the high quality condition of millions of satellite receivers and remote controls. State-of-the-art facilities in El Paso, TX, Spartanburg, SC, and Englewood, CO, use advanced diagnostic tools and automated equipment to test, refurbish and redistribute hardware to customers.
The Manufacturing Supervisor manages and coordinates the activities and efficiencies of employees in a production work cell for the repair and refurbishing of satellite TV receivers.
Requirements

Four year degree from college or technical school; or equivalent experience and/or training.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles, 5-S and KanBan is preferred.
Excellent computer skills in MicroSoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating/maintenance/procedure instructions.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Responsibilities
Days & Hours
:
Monday - Thursday: 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
Reviews productivity of employees on a daily basis for accuracy and compliance with established procedures, and determines workload for team members.
Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites work-flow.
Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates.
Traces history of unresolved issues to determine reasons for errors or needed corrections and recommends remedial actions to resolve discrepancies.
Other responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Conducts daily and weekly meetings with team members.
Capable of performing all job duties of direct reports at a high level of proficiency.
Directly responsible for exempt/non-exempt staff. Is responsible for the performance of subordinates.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
