Operational Excellence (Lean/ Six Sigma) Manager with experience in a heavy manufacturing environment is needed for a worldwide provider of industrial products. This individual is responsible for driving operational excellence by establishing and maintaining the Lean Six Sigma strategy for the organization. The ideal candidate will have either current or previous leadership experience as a Quality Manager. Direct hire position in Spartanburg, SC with relocation available. Responsibilities for the Continuous Improvement Manager
Drive the development and deployment of Business excellence, Lean strategy and Quality integration
Develop and drive a quality and system culture that continues to challenge the status quo and strives for excellence
Build bench strength by mentoring and developing the skills of Managers, Directors, and Lean Leaders
Prioritize and oversee the implementation of continuous improvement projects focused at improving the effectiveness of Operational Excellence and the integration to the market
Requirements for the Continuous Improvement Manager
BS in engineering or technical field with a Black Belt certification
Minimum 4 (+) years experience with statistics and lean six sigma tools (i.e., VS mapping, 5S, TPM, kaizen, SPC)
Demonstrated familiarity with practices and procedures associated with heavy manufacturing (machining, assembly, fabrication, etc)
Extensive process improvement experience
