Job Description:
The Technical Service Specialist (TSS) position is a support function for the Technical Sales Manager (TSM).
The TSR's main responsibility is to manage Chemetall's assigned accounts and to grow sales, per an assigned annual sales plan. The TSS's primary function is to provide in-depth service to key customers. This allows the TSM to have time to generate new business within his customers and new prospects.
The TSS needs to be able to understand or quickly learn the industrial markets we serve and the type of chemical processes Chemetall provides. The TSS should have good chemical and mechanical knowledge and skills to fulfill the listed responsibilities.
The TSM will be responsible for the daily schedule and duties of the TSS so there will be a managed directive for servicing our accounts. The TSR & TSS work both independent of each other and as a team. The TSS must keep the TSM informed of all activities.
The TSS will be attached to one territory, but may, on occasion, be asked to support other territories. When appropriate, the RSM will coordinate this shared use of theEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
