Job Responsibilities1Teach assigned courses at UCC, UCSD, and on-site client locations to meet industry and UCSD needsResponsible for curriculum development, creation of syllabi, and material development/selectionAdvises students in academic and employment planningWorks with supervisor to ensure that all equipment is properly maintained, and repairs are scheduled as necessary(35%)2In conjunction with the Executive Director of Cherokee and Union Campuses, meets with new and existing clients to sell, develop, and deliver trainingPromotes workforce development internally and externally by serving on committees and councils, attending community events, assisting in the development and distribution of marketing materials, partnering with Career services to host career fairs, offer career development instruction where appropriateResponsible for identifying employer partnerships and coordinating opportunities with academic staff to help grow enrollments and better serving customers and students(35%)3Develops and prepares forms, reports, presentations and special projects through with appropriate computer software skills; develops and maintains a functional hardcopy and/or electronic filing systemProvides administrative support services for the daily operations of the Union CampusServes as a primary problem solver for day-today Union campus activitiesServies as secondary student services coordinatorAssist the Executive Director with college functions including admissions testing, registration, advising, financial aid, recruitment activities, workshops; assists with dual enrollment activities(25%)4Perform other duties as assigned(5%)Minimum and Additional RequirementsBachelor's degree and relevant program experience.
Preferred QualificationsMinimum 5 years work experience in workforce developmentStong communication skills and organizational skills with ability to work independently, cooperatively and maintain confidentiality.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute several projects simultaneously conforming to shifting priorities, demands and timelines.
Experience in education sales and/or an industrial environmentInstruction Certifications for a variety of industrial trainings.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
