Coord-Research Grants

Responsible for support of financial monitoring and reporting for Upstate Carolina NCI Oncology Research Program (UC-NCORP) grant in accordance with associated Federal guidelines and Institutional policies and procedures.
Performs and/or coordinates complex professional duties in the creation and maintenance of restricted fund accounting records, verification, and documentation of restricted fund financial transactions and assists in the preparation and management of restricted account budgets.
Candidate must be organized and able to understand financial statements.
This position will report to the Research Accounts Manager and will work closely with the Business Office, Financial Services, Research Team and UC-NCORP affiliate sites.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, high proficiency in automated accounting systems, and competency with Microsoft Excel.
Must be able to work both collaboratively and independently to achieve goals and objectives.
Other responsibility include maintenance of UC-NCORP website in collaboration with Marketing department.

) Certification in Healthcare Research Compliance (CHRC) Core Job Responsibilities Track research site accruals and corresponding payments for UC-NCORP Facilitate reimbursement pertaining to the UC-NCORP grant (i.
e.
travel reimbursements, accrual payments) Maintain website for the UC-NCORP including clinical trial list and newsletters Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software Suite Proficiency with Clinical Trial Management System Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives with minimal supervision Other Requirements:
Ability to speak and write English fluently.
Ability to work effectively as a team member.
Ability to work without direct supervision.
Ability to manage projects with sensitive timelines.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
