Unit Description:
Welcome to 5 Main, our 36-bed stepdown intermediate care unit, where we specialize in vascular surgery, telemetry, and stroke care.
As part of the Cardiovascular Division, you'll be exposed to diverse cases, including aortic aneurysm repair, carotid endarterectomy, femoral bypass surgeries, and amputations.
We're proud that all our nurses are NIHSS certified, and we'll support you in obtaining this certification during your orientation.
Our patient-focused approach and monitored beds create a nurturing environment for extensive learning and skill development.
