Human Resources Generalist

Position Summary The Human Resources Generalist contributes to the accomplishment of human resources practices and objectives that support system mission, vision, and values.
This position includes responsibilities in the following areas:
employee relations, training, performance management, performance counseling, onboarding, policy implementation and interpretation, talent acquisition, regulatory requirements, and compliance.
The Human Resources Generalist supports an assigned area of the business.
Minimum Requirements Education Bachelor of Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field with a concentration in Human Resources Management studies or equivalent years of experience in Human Resources.
Experience 2 - 4 years of progressive experience in human resources.
Employee relations experience with a strong HR general knowledge of laws, policies, and processes and programs to include FMLA, ADA, FLSA, HIPAA, EEO, etc.
Strong analytical and organizational skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, excellent proficiency in Excel).
License/Registration/Certifications N/A Core Job Responsibilities Provides general human resources guidance to associates and leadership in assigned area of support.
Interfaces regularly with the corporate human resources team, bringing well-defined issues to specialists for expert guidance and support.
Manages basic employee relations issues to completion; partners with corporate employee relations team on advanced employee relations issues.
Proactively communicates trends/concerns/wins in area of support with corporate HR team.
Supports associates and leaders with performance management processes (annual performance appraisals, Leadership Evaluation Manager or LEM, Annual High/Solid/Low exercise, progressive discipline) Provides guidance on system policies and procedures.
Provides guidance with human resources policy and procedure interpretation.
Research, develop, and deliver employee training to all employees based on organizational needs.
Champion's system-wide human resources initiatives.
Assists benefits open enrollment, annual compensation initiatives, etc.
providing support and serving as a conduit for information to area of support.
Maintain employee records and prepare reports Assists with annual associate satisfaction survey and subsequent action planning.
Reviews and utilizes HR and other metrics to research key issues in area of support to perform root-cause analysis.
Prepare employee exit packets, conduct, and analyze exit interviews Function as a system superuser on various systems.
Ensure compliance with company policies & procedures as well as ethical standards Participate in cross-functional teams responsible for the development and implementation of SRHS initiatives Assist with special projects and participate in meetings/taskforces as needed Proactively research changing laws and regulations that affect healthcare and SRHS Performs other related duties as assigned.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
