7K a year 23 hours ago 23 hours ago 23 hours ago The Warehouse Shipping and Receiving employee is responsible to check goods delivered to the company receive them into our systems confirming they match description, part numbers and any other applicable characteristic detailed on our purchase orders and following our internal procedures.
Employee is also responsible to store or deliver materials to the assembly team properly identified and classified according to our internal processes, will also support on shipping activities such as preparing paperwork, packaging goods, and delivery to transport companies.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for goods checking and reception into internal systems Storage goods according our inventory procedures Delivers material to the assembly team organized and labelled Complies with established job safety practices, policies, and procedures, as specified in warehouse and corporate directive for the safe performance of the work assignment Facilitates direct support to all departments for spare parts, tooling, and supplies.
Receive and inspect all incoming items for warehouse departments, and ensures proper placement of inventory.
Originates and tracks the claims process through vendor disposition for stock, packaging, process materials, and shipping Collaborate closely with project coordinators to deliver materials to the assembly team properly and correct any issue may arise Primary Duties and Tasks:
Coordinates and receives into AWLs system all goods received Verifies and audits items received against packing slips and purchase orders Store material according their classification Assign material to project bins as per the bill of materials Delivers material to the assembly team according project schedule and availability Work with purchasing addressing vendor issues or mismatches on packing slips.
Monitors material usage for production as assigned Identify obsolete parts inventory and slow moving items, and communicates to management Generate computer reports weekly on all receipts and disbursements Receives, identifies, locates, and dispenses inventory as needed Inputs and maintains computer inventory and master file data system to assure accurate inventory Arrange necessary required packaging material, processes, and documents needed for transport Collect the material needed for shipment as asked for on the Expedite forum in AWL's intranet Completing process standards of 5S.
Perform other duties outside the normal scope of job description at the discretion of management Knowledge of the following is required:
Minimum of 2 years shipping and receiving experience domestically, internationally, and by air and sea.
Strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail and accuracy, productivity, and responsiveness Effective written and verbal communication skills through email or phone Strong administrative, data entry/retrieval and computer skills with expertise in using Microsoft Suite to create and maintain internal reports Demonstrate listening and problem-solving skills and positive approach in dealing with problems Transporting inventory throughout warehouse utilizing forklifts and gantry cranes Experience doing inventory counts Experience receiving materials into an ERP system Ability to lift up to 25lbs repetitively Ability to lift up to 50lbs non-repetitively Language Skills:
