Maintenance - Extrusion

Spartanburg, SC Spartanburg, SC Full-time Full-time Up to $40 an hour Up to $40 an hour 12 days ago 12 days ago 12 days ago DUE to an expansion! We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Person with extrusion manufacturing background to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have experience with installing machinery and maintaining and repairing all electrical, mechanical machine issues.
PLC troubleshooting and experience with VFDs and other automated systems required.
This is a full-time position with benefits.
Choose days or nights on a 2-2-3 schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery- Fabricate parts as needed- Assemble and disassemble machinery- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers- Handle materials in the warehouse- Use hand tools to perform repairs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent- Experience with basic math and lean manufacturing principles- Knowledge of materials handling and fabrication techniques- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers- Ability to use hand tools to perform repairs.
