OmniSource, one of North America's largest scrap metals recyclers, a wholly owned subsidiary of Steel Dynamics (STLD), is looking for a qualified candidate to join our team in our Spartanburg, South Carolina facility.
This individual will answer, screen and direct telephone calls, prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, memos and e-mails, maintain electronic and hard copy filing system, file and retrieve documents, handle routine requests for information and data, resolve administrative problems and inquires and have driver contact.
Requirements for this position include excellent verbal and written communication skills, working knowledge of Microsoft Office - Outlook, Excel and Word, excellent organizational skills with attention to details, self motivated team player dedicated to the success of the organization, ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner, ability to function in a high volume task environment, flexible work schedule, attention to detail and accuracy.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
