Job Summary
The Reimbursement Specialist is responsible for all levels of insurance and claims processing, payment posting. follow-up, collections and customer service. Each reimbursement specialist will be crossed trained in all working areas of the billing office.
Job Requirements
High school graduate, some college, computer knowledge with a minimum of Windows and/or Microsoft Office, 12 key calculator, fax machine, copy machine, type 45 wpm. Must have minimum two years experience processing insurance claims in a hospital business office, a physician's or insurance company, etc. Must have a good working knowledge of personal computers, accounting principles. Must possess a positive attitude, work well as part of a team, as well as independently.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
